Why I chose Chiropractic

Danvers Chiropractor: Dr. Gregory Garrity
As a student at Beverly High School, here in Massachusetts, I was very interested in weightlifting and fitness. I read a book by the bodybuilder, Franco Columbu and was intrigued by his work as a chiropractor and how he felt it was a necessary part of his life as an athlete and fitness expert. After getting my BS in Biology at Keene State College, I chose to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa…the birthplace of chiropractic. I graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1991, and returned to Massachusetts where I practiced as an Associate doctor in Lynn. In 1994, I began working at Barron Chiropractic, and eventually took over what is now Garrity Chiropractic.
Away from Garrity Chiropractic
I was born and raised on the North Shore. I currently live in Beverly with my wife, Sandy, and our three children, Matthew, Katie and Ryan, all students at Beverly High School. We enjoy attending our children’s sporting events, volunteering in the community, and traveling. I also love spending time outdoors and taking karate classes, where I am a third degree Black Belt.
